This mural honors the legacy of Jake West and his enduring kindness. It was partly painted live during a fundraising event. Jake tragically passed away in 2013 during high school football practice due to an undetected heart condition.

In his memory, his mother, Julie West, established the Play for Jake Foundation. The foundation aims to raise awareness and educate parents and youth about the dangers of undetected heart conditions and the importance of having an AED available.
