Meet Amanda —
the creative behind Region Design Co.

I'm Amanda — designer, illustrator, and the one-woman creative studio behind Region Design Co.

With a background in fine art and graphic design—and a love for all things bold and fun—I help businesses bring their ideas to life through handcrafted branding, illustration, murals, and packaging that actually feel like them, while attracting their best customers.

Small studio with big ideas

My studio may be small, but it’s packed with big ideas. I’m dependable, highly communicative, and fully invested — your project will always get my full focus and creativity.

And if there’s something I don’t offer? I’ve got a talented
network of creatives I love to collaborate with to
bring your vision fully to life.

If you’re looking for visuals that connect, stand out, and do a
little good in the world — you’re in the right place.

From printmaking to purpose-driven design

My journey into design started at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD), where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Printmaking — with a side of Graphic Design. After graduating,
I spent 15+ years designing for global corporations, creative agencies, all while running a screen printing side hustle with my husband — learning first hand what it takes to create visuals that connect with real people.

That side hustle, Region Press, deepened my love for apparel, product design, and working with small businesses who care about their story as much as their sales.

In 2023, I launched Region Design Co. full-time — blending my fine
art roots with a bold, colorful, experience-driven approach to branding and illustration.

Today, I help tourist and hospitality brands stand out with hand-drawn creative that is full of joy and personality.

Stuff I’d probably tell you over coffee (preferably iced)

Often seen wearing a funky hair claw or curling my hair to perfection
(it’s my best feature), depending on the day and agenda.

I enjoy a sweaty HIIT workout with some weights, always trying to make recipes healthier and full of protein, my family loves it…I mean tolerates it.

I’m tucked away at the bottom of Lake Michigan in the tourist town
of La Porte, Indiana — just a quick trip from Chicago and
Southwest Michigan.

Brought up in an antique-collecting family, my art style blends modern
trends with vintage nostalgia — full of quirks and personality.

You can find me frequently traveling around the U.S. with my husband
and two girls, experiencing all the best kitsch tourist destinations and
camping in our retro camper.

What guides
my work

Design should do more than just look good — it should feel good.
It should tell your story, build real connection, and create a positive brand experience that sticks with people long after they’ve scrolled past, left the store, or walked by your mural.

I believe in handcrafted visuals with purpose, bold ideas, a sprinkle of nostalgia, and a whole lot of heart. Good vibes only — but backed
by real strategy, creativity, and care.

Happy clients, great vibes

"The rebrand made everything feel cohesive. Visitors now comment on how professional we look — and it finally feels like us."
