Simply Inspired

Case Study

When Sherry reached out, she was ready to elevate her jewelry brand into something timeless. Trusting my 15 years of design and marketing experience, she wanted to create a meaningful and profitable business she could one day pass down to her family, one that reflected her passion for beach glass hunting and crafting personalized pieces for people and their loved ones to cherish.

The struggle

After years in business, Simply Inspired had outgrown its DIY logo. The brand no longer reflected the elegance and uniqueness of Sherry’s handcrafted pieces, each made from rare beach glass with its own history and story.

Without a clear strategy, the brand blended into a crowded market, and Sherry found herself limited to smaller shows where her work wasn’t fully valued.

Her current logo and booth display were holding her back from reaching higher-end artisan markets. It was time for a transformation, from casual craft to coastal luxury.

The strategy

We created a cohesive brand and marketing strategy that elevated Simply Inspired Jewelry
from hobbyist jewelry to valued, cherished pieces.

Together, we built an interactive jewelry bar experience where customers select beach glass, gemstones, and charms to create their own one-of-a-kind pieces. Each fragment tells a story; shaped by waves, time, and history.

With charm bars emerging as a major trend in personalized jewelry, this approach perfectly aligned with Sherry’s passion for creating meaningful pieces people can truly cherish.

We carried that same thoughtful touch into every detail—from elegant packaging to an elevated booth display that attracts upscale customers, higher profits, and sales.

Each fragment tells a story;
shaped by waves, time, and history.

The process

Step 1: Strategy & Research

Every project begins with listening, getting to know her story, goals, and audience so the design is grounded in purpose, not guesswork.

Step 2: Creative Direction

I craft two distinct mood board directions for her to choose from, each capturing a unique visual tone through color, typography, and imagery—setting the creative foundation for her brand.

Step 3: Design Exploration

This is where ideas take shape. I thoughtfully develop logo concepts, test colors and fonts together, and design any additional collateral to create a cohesive brand that truly connects.

Step 4: Final Concept & Files

Once the final concept is approved, I prepare all files for print and web, complete with brand guidelines and a marketing plan to help her confidently launch and continue to grow her brand.

The repositioning

Since launching the new brand, Simply Inspired achieved:

  • Being accepted into the highly regarded Journeyman Distillery Artisan Market after years of trying to get in.

  • Attracted a higher-income demographic, allowing for more profitable pricing.

  • Improved the customer experience, encouraging repeat buyers and referrals.

  • Expanded revenue streams through group jewelry bar parties, wholesale, and pop-up events.

Purposeful Design.
Upscale Customers. Higher Profits.
